Surgical exports fetch $1.35b in five years
 
 
 

ISLAMABAD : The exports of surgical instruments have contributed $1.35b to national exchequer during last five years. The amount of foreign exchange earned from surgical instruments exports was $253.5m during 2008-09 and reached $303.5m mark in 2012-13. The exports of such items also fetched $ 229.2m in 2009-10, 260.6m in 2010-11 and $ 303.94m during 2011-12.  Pakistan is exporting Surgical Instruments to almost 183 countries and  five major countries remained import partners including US, France, Germany, UK and Brazil.
