State Life, Silkbank sign agreement

Karachi (PR): State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) and Silkbank have signed a Bancassurance Distribution Agreement. Under this Agreement, SLIC Bancassurance Products will be offered by Silkbank to existing and potential customers through the Bank’s widespread distribution channels. Offering Bancassurance Products in line with SLIC’s commitment to continuous improvement and product innovation,it also aligns with Silkbank’s strategic intent to be “a high performance Bank admired for Innovation, Customer Service and Inspired Employees”.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Gian Chand Kewalramani, General Manager Bancassurance SLIC, Mr. Asif Azeem, Head of Wealth Management and Cross CellSilkbank, and Mr. Mohammad NaseemRawther, CEO GBA Services (Pvt.) Limited.
This alliance between SLIC and Silkbank provides customers with protection that ensures their financial security. With Silkbank as its new Bancassurance partner, State Life Insurance Corporation looks forward to a significant expansion of its business which will benefit from a wider, strategically-located distribution network across the country. The Agreement Signing Ceremony was attended by Mr. Jamil Anwar, Executive Director SLIC, Mr. Asif Azeem,Head of Wealth Management and Cross CellSilkbank, Mr. Izqar Khan, Executive Director of SLIC and Silkbank representatives.

State Life Insurance Corporation is a Government-owned Corporation, operating with a Life Fund of over Rs.500 billion and serving a customer base of over 6 million policyholders. GBA Services (Pvt.) Limited, under the terms of the Agreement, will provide certain administrative, software and related services to SLIC.

Akhuwat cloth bank gift shop

Lahore (PR): A group of SOS children went for shopping to the Akhuwat Clothes Bank where they were greeted with the Clothes Bank team of Kwajasiras. The payment in the form of smiles and laughs and friendship bands in exchange for toys, books and clothes was gladly accepted by Akhuwat. Today was a little different; among these children was a family of five brothers and sisters who have recently joined the SOS Children’s Village Lahore family. Words cannot convey the warmth that surrounded the selection of dresses and gifts. As a few street children gathered to view this picturesque exchange an even more picturesque exchange occurred, the SOS children were seen lovingly sharing their gifts with them. Here was a live demo of the messages of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) - to care for the orphans seen practiced by SOS and the concept of sharing encapsulated in Akhuwat.
