LAHORE - The LPG marketing companies have increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas by Rs10 per kg. The new prices would be applicable with immediate effect, stated all Pakistan LPG Distributors Association on Sunday. With the fresh increase, the price of domestic cylinder has been increased by Rs120 and commercial cylinder by Rs450. New price of LPG in Karachi would be Rs100 per kg and of the domestic cylinder Rs1150. The LPG will be sold in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujraat, Faislabad, Sialkot, Hydrabad and Sheikhopura at Rs. 110 per kg with domestic cylinder at Rs 1270. The LPG price will stand in Mirpur, Multan, Bhawalpur, DG Khan, Peshawar, Kohat and Bannu at Rs115 per kg and domestic cylinder Rs1330. In Rawalpindi and Islamabad, the LPG will be sold at 130 per kg with domestic cylinder at Rs 1510 while new price of LPG in Murree Muzafrabad and FATA would be Rs140 per kg and domestic cylinder is Rs1630. The distributors, in a statement, criticised the raise terming it unjustified. The government producers such as Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), PSO and Parco did not increased the price of LPG.
