LAHORE - Pakistan Chamber of Commerce, Japan, in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Pakistan embassy in Japan arranged an exhibition of Pakistani merchandise. The exhibition would continue till November 9. The exhibition that was inaugurated on Friday by Japanese Vice Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Kenji Knodo, was addressed by Pakistan Acting Ambassador in Japan Imtiaz Ahmad, Commercial Consular Hamid Rehman, LCCI Executive Committee Member Mohammad Riaz and President Pakistan Chamber of Commerce, Japan, Zulfiqar Ali. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Mr Kenji Knodo said that he was putting in his best efforts for the promotion of Pak-Japan business relations. He said Pakistan was his second home and its economic well being is on the top of his duties. He promised to extend every cooperation to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in all its future endeavors aimed at promoting business ties. The Acting Ambassador in Pakistan Embassy Imtiaz Ahmad, speaking on the occasion, paid rich tributes to Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for conducting an exhibition that would help introduce Pakistan merchandise get a place in Japanese market. The LCCI Executive Committee Member M Riaz sad that Pakistan does not need any sort of international aid but the solution to all its ills is trade and the Japanese businessmen should come forward to do business with their Pakistan counterparts to put them on path to progress and prosperity.
