PREM lauds PR minister for separate GP Fund account

LAHORE: Employees of Pakistan Railways across the country have lauded the decision of the administration that the General Provident Fund (GPF) account of employees would separately be operated in future.
Appreciating the decision of operating Provident Fund separately, Prem Union Senior Vice President Sheikh Mohammad Anwar on Sunday told the media that the net amount of GPF of Pakistan  employees had earlier been kept in general pool and employees were denied flatly whenever any they applied for some amount from the fund.    He said now the GP fund of employees worth billions of rupees would be put in a separate account and resultantly every PR employee would be able to get it at any time.    He thanked PR Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq, GM Operation Anjum Pervaiz, FA&CO Ghulam Mustafa and additional GM Muhammad Javaid Anwar for accepting the workers’ long-awaited demand.–APP
