ISLAMABAD (PR): The Board of Directors of IESCO has appointed Muhammad Yousaf Awan as Chief Executive Officer of IESCO with immediate effect in place of Javed Parvez who was not granted extension. The Board had already recommended the name of Muhammad Yousaf Awan for appointment as CEO IESCO being senior most Officer and upon the advice of PM’s office the board appointed Yousaf Awan as Chief Executive Officer IESCO. Awan, currently serving as G.M. (Development), is a graduate electrical engineer from UET, Lahore, and has diversified experience of around 36 years.
 and successfully accomplished different important assignments in WAPDA, MEPCO and IESCO. He has worked in various capacities as XEN, Deputy Manager, Superintending Engineer, Project Director, Manager, Chief Engineer and General Manager in Operations, Construction, GSC, Planning and Engineering sides of Power Distribution System.
