SIALKOT  - Punjab Agriculture department has finalized necessary arrangements for holding ‘Wheat Yield Competition’ across  the province.
The prizes amounting to Rs.125.775m would be given to the winners of the competion.  Wheat yield competition 2014 would be held among the wheat growers  at provincial, divisional, district and tehsils levels.  At provincial level, 1st prize 85 HP tractor, 2nd and 3rd prize 75 Hp tractors would be given to the winners while 1st prize 75 HP tractor, 2nd prize 65 HP tractor and 3rd prize 55 HP tractor will be awarded to the winners at divisional level.  At district level, 1st prize 55 HP tractor, 2nd prize Laser Land Levelers and 3rd prize automatic wheat threshers while at tehsil level, 1st prize wheat reapers, 2nd prize seed cum fertilizer drills and 3rd prize fertilizer broadcasters will be awarded to the winners of the competition, sources added.
