ISLAMABAD - Secretary Finance Wajid Rana has assured the delegation of All Pakistan Secretariat Employees Coordination Council that govt would solve the APSECC problems and look into their genuine demands in the upcoming budget 2012-13.
An APSECC delegation requested few demands to be incorporated in budget. They demanded increase in salaries by 100pc due to the price hike and also to increase medical allowance up to Rs 5,000 per month. 50pc commutation and conveyance allowance up to Rs 3,000 per month, restoration of selection grade, grant of 20pc interest on GP fund with 30pc bonus also demanded . Onthe other hand 75pc house rent, restoration of advance increments on higher qualification, upgradation of posts of superintendents (16 to 17) and Naib Qasid were also on demand list.
Similarly, the government should also grant 25 percent quota for the retired government servants’ children in federal government, as this facility is prevailing in the provinces.
