LAHORE - A delegation of Denmark agriculture experts visited the University of Veterinary and Animal Science (UVAS) Lahore and met with Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha on Wednesday.
The delegation comprising Henry Jorgensen and Werner Kofoed Nielsen from the Knowledge Centre for Agriculture, Denmark, and Danish Embassy Commercial Adviser Aslam Perwaiz discussed with the Vice-Chancellor issues relating to dairy sector.
They lauded the efforts and role of UVAS in livestock, dairy and related sectors. They also discussed possibilities of collaboration with the UVAS for exchange of teachers and students for training programmes. The VC also briefed the delegation on UVAS role in development of livestock sector, vaccine production and extension activities.
