KARACHI - The tragic flood that has brought a moment of misery cut a swathe in the country, killing hundreds of people and destructed homes and farmland. Abdul Majid Haji Muhammad, President KCCI assured that at this moment of awe and agony, we are standing beside the nation and have already established KCCI Flood Relief fund. KCCI commend and appreciate this gesture of serving the nation by Ms Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur, PPP Womens Wing Chief, following the footsteps of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto taking the noble initiative to raise the relief fund for the flood victims. A delegation of KCCI to visit Sindh on Friday ensuring transportation and distribution of goods to the deeply trodden people of affected area. The delegation aims to evaluate the damages and have first hand information of the affected area and assess their requirements. While separate wings for procurement of goods and fund collection is also formed. KCCI is the representative of business community and always come forward for the support of masses at crucial moments of calamity and disaster. A recent display of this warmth for people become visible when Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, daughter of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the great politician of Pakistan and President Asif Ali Zardari called business community for donations to help flood victims.
