LAHORE - Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) expressed its cautions on pre-matured Auto Industry Policy to the press without prior circulation and comments from stakeholders. The Auto Industry Policy needs indepth deliberations within the automotive industry. The policy which is premature and not shared with local industry cannot prove successful. Mr. Usman Aslam Malik Chairman PAAPAM while expressing note of reservations said that Prime Minister on his visit to Pakistan Auto Show 2014 had assured that industry will be taken on board before finalization of any policy related to Auto Industry.  He further indicated to takeup the matter with Federal Minister for Finance Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Federal Minister for Industry. PAAPAM will support Auto Industry Policy which have win - win situation for all stakeholders, Mr. Usman added.
