LCCI condemns Peshawar attack

Lahore  - The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry Tuesday condemned in severest possible terms ugly terrorist attacks in Peshawar and urged all the Parliamentary parties to take unified stand to weed out the menace of terrorism. Loss of precious innocent lives is not bearable and tolerable at all.
In a statement issued here, LCCI President Ijaz A. Mumtaz termed the terrorist attacks on innocent students a cowardly act and an ugly attempt to destabilize country aimed at creating an impression of unsafe place in the eyes of international community.
Expressing his deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives, Progressive Group President Khalid Usman said those involved in attacks on places of worships especially belonging to different sects of Islam are not serving the religion or the Ummah rather serving enemies of Ummah and the country.
He said it seemed that after every incident our provincial and federal governments announce to further enhancing the security, make statements, visit place of incidents and hospitals to enquire about injured and announce financial assistance for family of those who loose lives in such incidents. But as time pass by, all things come to routine again and terrorist make their presence felt by striking to some other place.
