LAHORE  – Pharmaceutical industry is facing difficulties as no Drug Regulatory Authority (DRA) has so far been formulated.
This was said by former Vice Chairman Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) in a press statement issued here on Friday.
He said that after 18th amendment, no fruitful steps had so far been initiated for the betterment of pharma industry. Petroleum prices are directly hitting medicine sector, he added.
He also said that pharma sector has some reservations on awarding most favoured nation status to India which should be removed as soon as possible.
He appealed the governments to take immediate steps for the execution of Authority.
