Govt urged to issue Drug Regulatory Authority

LAHORE (PPI) - Vice Chairman Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) Khawaja Shahzeb Akram has said that Punjab Government may issue NOC to the Federal Government for Drug Regulatory Authority (DRA) so that policy making could be started at federal level. He said that after shifting the matters relating to pharma industry to provinces, no improvement for the betterment of pharma industry has so far been taken by them. He was addressing the emergent meeting of office bearers of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) here at PPMA office which was attended by Amjad Ali Jawa, Asad Shuja-ur-Rehman, Babar Choudhary, Dr. Shehla Javaid Ikram, Dr. Khokhar, Dr. Khalid Choudhary, Hamid Raza and Shafique Abbasi.
