PR fines 80,000 fare-dodgers in May

LAHORE : Pakistan Railways Commercial checking staff has charged Rs 46,290,255 in the form of fine from fare-dodgers during May. According to a report by the PR on Saturday, the staff fined 80,800 ticket-less passengers during raids in trains at main line and branch lines of several PR divisions under the supervision of senior officers. The amount of fine is Rs 3,349,825 more than the amount collected in May 2013. The sources said the campaign against fare-dodgers will be continued to ensure zero percent dodging in trains.
