DIBPL deal with Western Union


KARACHI – Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan Limited (DIBPL) and Western Union have entered into a collaboration, whereby DIBPL will provide Western Union inbound money transfer services through its 76 branches across the 30 major cities in Pakistan. This service will cater to the needs of people in Pakistan who wish to receive money promptly from abroad, says a press release.Speaking on the occasion, Junaid Ahmed, CEO of DIBPL said, “Our strategic relationship with Western Union provides us an opportunity to expand our current array of services. Under this arrangement, Pakistanis living around the world can send money to their families at home. Even if their families do not have an account with DIBPL they will still be able to receive money from any of our branches with complete ease.”
