LAHORE (PR) – The seventh convocation of Beaconhouse National University (BNU) was held at BNU’s New Campus, Raiwind Road.
The ceremony was presided over by the Federal Minister of Finance, Abdul Hafeez Shiekh. Also present were Chairperson, BNU Board of Governors, Nasreen Mahmud Kasuri, Vice Chancellor, Sartaj Aziz, Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri, members of the Board of Governors of BNU, graduates, faculty and parents of the graduating students.
A total of 315 received their degrees this year. These included 170 graduates of M. Phil, MS and Masters Degrees programs and 145 of Bachelor degree programs.
The university also instated two Gold Medals this year. The Arfa Karim Gold Medal was awarded to Roshaan Malik of the School of Computer and IT (SCIT) while the Nasim Hijazi Gold Medal was awarded to Alizeh Khalid Yousaf of School of Media and Mass Communication (SMC).
