LAHORE : Khushhali Bank will provide financing for various models of ‘Solar Magic Box’ - an affordable plug and play device that can be used for generating electricity for household. The bank has signed a Value Chain Financing agreement with SRE Solutions Pvt Limited, in this regard, a spokesman of the bank told APP here on Saturday.    Khushhali Bank, Pakistan’s largest microfinance bank while SRE Solutions (Smart and Renewable Solutions) Pvt Limited  is a firm specializing in solar-powered energy equipment for homes and businesses.
   “Both organizations will work together to address energy issues of the masses living in far-flung areas and support them in activities that support their livelihood,”   he said.
   He said solar energy was a renewable energy source and an exploring alternative energy sources was an important priority for the country.
   The object would be achieved through joint partnerships with both the institutions, he added.
   Khushhali Bank is committed to support product innovation for bottom of the pyramid markets that provide economic opportunities to the majority of the population in Pakistan, he added.
