RAWALPINDI (APP) - Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (RCCI) Friday called off the strike announced earlier against the menace of unscheduled loadshedding on the assurance of Minister for Water and Power Pervaiz Ashraf. According to details last day President (RCCI) Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashif Shabbir had announced a series of protests including strike call on April 16 against the menace of unscheduled load shedding. The minister visited the RCCI here and assured the business community maximum possible relief in load shedding. He also directed Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (IESCO) officials to hold a meeting with business community and devise a proper schedule of load shedding in consultation with traders community.
