Punjab to give Rs2b for agri products supply chain
 
 
 


LAHORE – Fully traceable agricultural and livestock products to be showcased at International Green Week (IGW) will reach Berlin, Germany on Wednesday (tomorrow).
The participants of a meeting of Steering Committee on Supply Chain Improvement of Agriculture and Livestock Products Project held here Monday were told that Punjab Government has completed all necessary arrangements to participate in IGW. Minister for Agriculture Punjab Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh chaired the meeting.
Secretary Agriculture Arif Nadeem said that Punjab Government was going to make a history by participating in IGW. Punjab govt is providing Rs 2b to make the supply chain of selected agricultural and livestock products according to international standard. The objective of this project is to bring our agricultural and livestock products at international standard to attract the consumer.
