ISLAMABAD : Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has so far issued 91 Satellite TV station licenses in different categories since 2002. An official of PEMRA while talking to APP said that 37 licenses have been issued to Entertainment TV channels, 27 to News and Current Affairs channels, 19 to Regional Languages channels, 4 to specialized subjects channels and 1 each to Sports, Health, Agro and Education TV channels. He said PEMRA has granted three FM radio licenses from June 2013 to January 2014. The new FM radios are including Sky Radio, Quetta, Seven Sounds, Karachi and Sindh Police, Karachi.
