LAHORE - PIA Chairman and Secretary Defense Asif Yasin Malik has held detailed meetings with the operational departments of the airline on second day of his visit to head office, spokesman of airlines said here on Friday.
PIA Chairman stressed the need for working beyond the call of duty by the officials and workers of the airline to turnaround the national flag carrier according to the expectation of Pakistani national and the expatriate - the potential passengers of the airline.
During the day-long presentation sessions by engineering, corporate services, customer services, finance, procurement, logistics and information technology departments the Chairman was explained the progressive working in each department, the present status and annual targets.
Chairman directed each department to ensure achieving their annual targets.
He said that he would be regularly reviewing the performance and would be devoting every week two working days for PIA.
