Nucon Engineers bags ‘best stall award’
Lahore (PR): Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC&R) Society awarded Nucon Engineers with prestigious ‘Best Stall Award’ at the 21st HVAC&R Exhibition and Conference held recently at the Lahore Expo Center. Nucon Engineers put up an impressive and colourful stall at the exhibition displaying state-of-the-art HVAC solutions being marketed in Pakistan by Carrier and TOSHIBA.
HVAC&R Society Lahore Chapter president Muhammad Boota and Convener of the Exhibition Safdar Ali Mughal handed over the best stall trophy to Nucon Engineers CEO Mustafa Khalid and COO Abu Zafar Mahmood on the concluding day of the exhibition. “The exhibition was of great importance and an opportunity for all those attached with the Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration sector to take advantage of experience of seasoned consultants and experts from their own community and to learn from them,” said Mustafa Khalid.
Zong, Unicef join hands to defeat polio in Pakistan
KARACHI (PR): To create an enabling environment for polio eradication in Pakistan, Zong and UNICEF have signed anMoU on strengthening the use of mobile phone messages to ensure more children are vaccinated during the polio campaign. The widespread usage and viability of cell phones across Pakistan provides great opportunity to reach out to communities who are most at risk of the disease.
The mobile phone messages will specifically target polio reservoirs to enhance knowledge and to help take informed decisions.
The initiative is unique in character within polio eradication efforts and polio partnership in the health sector.
