Punjab approves 7 uplift schemes

Lahore - The Provincial Development Working Party Punjab has approved seven development schemes of various development sectors with an estimated cost of Rs5578.702 million.
These schemes were approved in the 42nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Irfan Elahi. Provincial Secretary P&D Waseem Ajmal Chaudhary, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretary concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included master planning, architectural, structural design and infrastructure of new development schemes of sports sector (revised) (PC-II) at the cost of Rs146.111 million, upgradation of radiology/specialties departments in Services Hospital, Lahore at the cost of Rs2108.805 million, IT Centric Interventions & Smart Monitoring Under Punjab Public Management Reforms Program (PPMPR) at the cost of Rs1899.708 million, Construction of metalled road from Chitri to Sakhi Bhore Bukhsh via Khan Khund length =32 km Distt Rajanpur at the cost of Rs. 430.880 million, construction of metalled road from Gagan Thal Gujari Thokh length =20 km Distt. D.G. Khan at the cost of Rs. 277.877 million, construction of metalled road from Ranghan Post to Sirthok via Mut Chandia length =25 km, Distt DG Khan at the cost of Rs. 274.004 million and construction of metalled road from Rahim Kothi to Kharar Buzdar via Mobarki Top length =40 km Distt DG Khan at the cost of Rs441.317 million.
