LAHORE - All industrial associations and trade bodies while condemning massacre of the innocent students and teachers in Peshawar have demanded of the government to immediately issue orders for the execution of hundreds of terrorists imprisoned in Pakistani jails.
PRGMEA: The Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PRGMEA) condemned the horrible incident of terrorist attacks at a School in Peshawar in severest possible terms and urged the government to initiate speedy trial against the terrorists.
“The PRGMEA executive body fully endorses the decision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to lift a moratorium on the death penalty. He said that the country will not forget the brutality of the ghastly attack and the sacrifice of the students wouldn’t go in vain.
PRGMEA Central Chairman Ijaz Khokhar, Vice Chairman Naseer Malik and the Executive Committee members termed the terrorist attacks on innocent students a cowardly act and an ugly attempt to destabilize the country.
International Apparel Federation: International Apparel Federation President Rahul Mehta also strongly condemned the massacre of defenseless children in Peshawar, terming it an act of brutality and a sheer cowardice. “Our members are receiving calls and condolence messages from the international buyers from across the world against the brutality of this ghastly attack on innocent schoolchildren, Ijaz Khokhar said.
Pakistan Poultry Association: The Pakistan Poultry Association has strongly condemned the massacre of innocent and defenseless schoolchildren in Peshawar, terming it an act of horror and a sheer cowardice.
The PPA North Zone Chairman Dr Mustafa Kamal and other leadership of poultry industry including former chairman Abdul Basit, Raza Mehmood Khursand, Abdul Karim Bhatti, Haji Bashir, F.M Sabir, Dr. Muhammad Arshad and PPA Secretary Major (r) Syed Javed Hussain Bukhari expressed their sympathies with the parents of the martyred students.
Dr. Mustafa Kamal said that any further delay in taking a strong stand against terrorists would cause undue damage to the country therefore the President, Prime Minister and all the Chief Ministers should sit with the politicians and business leaders to evolve a methodology to get rid of this menace.
Progressive Group: The Progressive Group, a representative group of industrialists, traders and businessmen from Lahore, has strongly condemned the terror attack at a school in Peshawar which claimed over 130 lives of innocent children and school faculty and termed this an incident of cowardice and brutality. Progressive Group Chairman Khalid Usman, Vice President Ch. Arshad and Secretary Information Ejaz Tanveer expressed their sympathies with the parents of the martyred students. “We share their pain and offer our deepest condolences,” they added.
Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers & Exporters Association: Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers & Exporters Association chairman Usman Ghani, senior vice chairman north zone Qamar Zia and former chairman Major (r) Akhtar Nazir Cooki demanded the execution of all terrorists who are presently under trial.
They suggested the government and the armed forces to devise a stringent strategy to control infiltration of foreign terrorists into Pakistan. Major Cooki said that the Peshawar School incident was a sheer conspiracy against Pakistan and the government must adopt zero tolerance policy towards terrorism.
All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association: All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association chairman Muhammad Ali Tabba and senior vice chairman Saeed Tariq Sehgal observed that it was a senseless act of unspeakable brutality that claimed lives of the most innocent of human beings. He said that APCMA shares its pain and offer its deepest condolences. Mr. Tabba said that whole nation should condemn this brutal act and stand united against such elements.
PAAPAM: Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts Accessories Manufacturers former chairman and founding chairman of APBF Syed Nabeel Hashmi urged the government to cope with law and order issues with iron hands that have jolted the very basis of the country. He also extended full support and assistance to the bereaved families during this difficult time and also to the government and armed forces in their quest to completely eradicate terrorism from Pakistan.
FPCCI: FPCCI former regional chairman and presidential candidate for FPCCI polls Mian Adrees termed it an act of horror and a sheer cowardice to attack innocent defenseless children who were in school to learn. He also urged the political parties to shun their differences and unite hands to evolve a consensus policy to curb such act of terrorism and subversive activities in future.
APTMA: All Pakistan Textile Mills Association group leader and former chairman Gohar Ejaz, chairman S M Tanveer and ex-chairman and KPBOIT vice chairman Mohsin Aziz observed that it is a senseless act of unspeakable brutality that has claimed the lives of the most innocent of human beings — young children in their school.
He said that the major aim of the anti-state elements behind every terrorist attack in the country was to divert foreign investments away from the country and halt economic activities.
TDAP: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan CEO S.M Muneer lauded the Prime Minister’s decision to convene meeting of all parliamentary parties and hailed the gesture of political leadership for shunning their differences and attended the meeting in the larger interest of the country.
S.M Muneer said that political leadership deserves appreciation that have came together to figure out how to fight against the enemy.
