LAHORE (PPI) The Punjab government will introduce solar water pump technology for the benefit of farming community. The pumps to be operated through solar energy will provide abundant water for irrigation purposes free of cost which will also result in increase in agri-production. This was stated by Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Zulfiqar Khosa while addressing a special meeting regarding Khareef crop at 90-Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam. Provincial Secretaries of Irrigation, Agriculture, Livestock as well as senior officers of PAMPCO were also present on the occasion.
