Australia-Pakistan joint trade committee meets

ISLAMABAD : Senior trade officials from Australia and Pakistan met here on Wednesday for the 4th Joint Trade Committee trade talks which discussed ways and means to enhance bilateral trade and investment. The Australian delegation, led by Paul Grigson, the Deputy Secretary of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, held substantive and fruitful talks with officials led by Munir Qureshi, Secretary of Pakistan's Ministry of Commerce.
Grigson said that Australia recognized the great potential for increased trade and investment between Australia and Pakistan, says a statement issued by the Australian High Commission here Wednesday.
