LAHORE - Member National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader, Ahsan Iqbal, has said that the engineering sector has huge potential which needs to be taped. He said that the world has now become global village and the level of competition is galloping fast with every passing moment therefore success of every nation lies in how they transfer their individual excellence into collective one. Ahsan Iqbal was speaking at a ceremony held to celebrate the first anniversary of Etimaad Engineering (pvt) Ltd here. He said that we have to work for enhancing the exports especially in the field of engineering because this field has a lot of potential and work for the promotion of a quality culture in the country. Speaking on the occasion President & CEO of the Etimaad Engineering Mazhar udin Ansari said "We are already playing our humble role in overcoming the power shortage by our involvement as a construction contractor at 160 MW Attock Gen Limited in Rawalpindi and 220 MW Orient Power plant at Balloki." He said that their company offers total commitment to play its part in overcoming the current power shortage in the country as engineering, construction and a project management company owned and managed by experienced professionals. He also said his company is working on the collaborations with reputable international companies to utilize expertise and verification of design parameters and his company also offer in-house engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) capability to offer fast track solutions to meet Pakistan's power shortage by enhancing our capabilities to offer cost effective solutions to put up fast track power projects.
