75 firms to attend Asian Pacific Leather Fair



LAHORE - PTA and PLGMEA together are participating in forthcoming Asian Pacific Leather Fair Hong Kong starting from March 25. This year more than 75 companies are participating in APLF which is largest ever in the history. The leather industry has decided to slow its muscles at international level to overcome stagnation in the growth for last five years.
This was stated by Agha Saiddain, Chairman Pakistan Tanners Association, who is leading delegation of more than 200 people from all over Pakistan. He said that new Chief Executive of TDAP Abid Javed Akbar has also decided to join the delegation. Agha further added that we are lucky to have visionary Chief Executive of TDAP who understands problems of Industry specially those of exporters.  He appreciated initiative taken by CEO TDAP by removing condition of three years, for 50 percent subsidy on Participation in International Exhibitions and he took a foresighted decision to start Pakistan Mega Leather Show in Lahore Expo Center.
