Whistleblower in Axact scandal receiving life threats

ISLAMABAD- Axact former quality insurance editor and NYT story’s central character Yasir Jamshed said that he had to flee to United Arab Emirates (UAE) as he was getting life threats for exposing fake degrees business.

He expressed these views while talking to the Gulf News. Declan Walsh, Pakistan bureau chief for NYT presented a former employee of Axact, Jamshed as the central figure in his controversial story.

Jamshed said he wants to help the people victimized by Axact in fraudulent degrees. He revealed that sales agents used to talk to the customers as professors. The former employee said he is getting life threats for exposing the company.

“I have knowledge about Axact’s accounts in Dubai.” he concluded. The former Axact employee blamed Axact for making millions from fake online degrees. However, the investigations by FIA are still underway.
