KARACHI  - Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Saturday said that Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) would be privatised at any cost.
Talking to media persons, the minister said that the government would privatise all those national institutions including Pakistan Steel Mill (PSM) which are facing deficit.
 He said that the government could not afford to pay subsidies for the losses of Pakistan Steel Mill (PSM) any more.
On statement of PPP senator Raza Rabbani that Pakistan Steel Mill is a national asset therefore his party would not accept its privatization, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan said that if Sindh government was interested to purchase the PSM, the federal government would not raise any objection.
