KARACHI- State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) is going to organise ‘Fourth Hari Mela’ on 25th March, 2012 to educate the farmers about the services of the State Bank for the agricultural sector.
Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Speaker, National Assembly will inaugurate the event.
All stakeholders including commercial banks, Sindh Agriculture Department, farm machinery manufacturers, agri. marketing companies (fertilizers, pesticides and seeds suppliers), Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam and provincial departments of livestock, dairy, animal husbandry and fisheries will set up their stalls at the Mela to create awareness about their products, services and initiatives for the benefit of farming community of the region.
Senior officials from the State Bank of Pakistan, SBPBSC and commercial banks will be available at the Mela to brief the farmers about the banking services for the agriculture sector.
Agricultural experts will also brief the farmers about the latest research in agriculture sector for increasing farm productivity.
