ISLAMABAD - Thar coal project is the best option for the govt to overcome crucial energy problem. According to a report aired by a private TV channel, Thar coal reserves have the capability to produce 50,000 MW of energy which can easily cope with the difficulty the country is facing. It will take a one-time initial expense, and as a result the country can become self-sufficient in power production. The report further said that beside providing jobs to a sizeable majority of population the project will solve the power problems of the next fifty years.  It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan has the largest coal reserves in the world and if taken seriously,can strengthen the economy.
