ISLAMABAD – Ayesha Khurram, a designer whose Andy Warhol pop art inspired kurtas and unique embroidery motifs such as silhouettes, old man, Buddha are extremely popular across Pakistan, launched at L’Atelier, says a press release.
The decision to stock permanently in Islamabad emerged from an astounding response the designer received when she held an exhibition at Melange, another multi-brand store in the capital city, earlier this year.  “It was truly unbelievable,” said the soft spoken Ayesha Khurram, the creative head behind AK. “I had never shown my clothes in Islamabad before coming to Melange and so I was really gratified by the response.”
