Installation of 125kwp solar project at Wah Nobel
ISLAMABAD (PR): Reon Energy Solutions has recently completed a 125kWp solar power installation commissioned by Wah Nobel Group of Companies. Members of the higher management of both companies and senior officials attended the opening ceremony.

Huawei sponsors internship programme for Pak students
LAHORE (PR): Huawei Technologies, the world’s leading telecom and ICT Company, as part of its educational development initiatives in Pakistan today announced to sponsor “Students Internship Programme” in Islamabad based universities to develop technical and personality building skills of young and talented Pakistani students.

Samsung introduces SSD powered by 3D V-NAND
LAHORE (PR): Samsung Electronics launched the 850 PRO, a new solid state drive (SSD) line-up featuring Samsung’s cutting-edge three-dimensional (3D) vertical NAND (V-NAND) flash memory technology. The new Samsung 850 PRO, unveiled at the 2014 Samsung SSD Global Summit in Seoul, offers a new breed of performance for solid state drives and will be available globally across 53 markets from this month.
Based on Samsung’s proprietary V-NAND technology, the new 850 PRO is ideal for use in high-end PCs and workstations. Samsung’s V-NAND features a proprietary vertical cell structure and represents a breakthrough in overcoming the density limit currently facing planar NAND architecture used in conventional flash memory, yielding significant speed, endurance and energy efficiency improvements.

Mobilink holds countrywide Iftar for senior citizens
ISLAMABAD (Our Staff Reporter): Mobilink organised Iftar dinners for senior citizens residing at old-age homes across Pakistan. The activity was organised for over 200 senior citizens by 50 Mobilink Torchbearers.  Mobilink also distributed gift hampers among the residents, the hampers included new bedding, clothes and other household items for residents. Omar Manzur Head of Corporate Communication, Mobilink said, “As a part of Mobilink Foundation’s efforts to reach out to the marginalised and often forgotten social groups, we regularly extend our support to the senior citizens.
We believe that the elderly are an integral part of our society and the society has much to learn from their experiences’. The Iftar-Dinners offered the Mobilink Torchbearers a chance to interact with the residents at these old-age homes as they spent time caring for them. The Iftars were conducted at Aafiat Old age home (Islamabad), Bint-e-Fatima Old Home (Karachi) and Aafiat Old age home (Lahore).

KARACHI (PR): This is with reference to the news item published in a section of Press that ‘NBP branches raided to review status of PMYBLS disbursement’. This was a normal visit and not a raid on NBP branches.

Dollar strengthens in open market

Rupee pushed back dollar in inter bank market while the US currency takes strength in open market on Wednesday.
According to the data provided by the Forex Association of Pakistan, dollar traded at lowest rate of Rs 98.68 and highest rate of Rs 98.78 in inter bank market while it was traded at minimum price of Rs 98.75 and maximum price of Rs 98.95 in open market.
