Foreign exhibitors offer energy solutions at Pogee

Foreign exhibitors have offered many solutions for the energy problems in Pakistan here at the 13th Pakistan Oil, Gas and Energy Exhibition 2015 POGEE, at Karachi Expo Centre. Many trade visitors have shown their interest to acquire ready solution for alternate energy system mostly solar panels for commercial, industrial as well as domestic consumers. The Chinese solar solution company is also offering financing for the industrial solar panels to the tune of 70per cent. The Commercial Consular of Belgium, Abid Husain while commenting on the encouraging response said that he was participating in this event for the several years and found it very useful and effective one for the introduction of European technologies, energy solutions to the local entrepreneurs. He said that there was a lot of potential for foreign exhibitors’ products and technology in the growing requirement for the energy industry in Pakistan.
The exhibitors from other countries were of the opinion that they are having good business at the POGEE-Pakistan-2015 Exhibition being held at Karachi Expo Centre. On 2nd day of the exhibition, a large number of business professionals, diplomats, foreign and commercial attaches and delegates, government officials, visitors and industry leaders have visited the Exhibition.
Defense attaches and commercial consular from various embassies including Turkey, Belgium, China, Switzerland, UK and other countries have also visited and appreciated the first of its kind exhibition. The products displayed in the exhibition include, generators, transformers, solar panels, solar invertors, dry cell batteries and other equipment.
Exhibitors from 25 countries are participating in the show with a majority from China, Germany, Italy, England, Russia, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, France, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Japan, Pakistan, UAE, UK, USA, Australia, South Korea, Spain, Poland, Singapore, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and Turkey are displaying and demonstrating their brands at the 3-day show. In congruence with the exhibition, 11th International Conference will be held on 25th April 2015 at the Karachi Expo Centre and will be based on the theme “Integrated Solutions to Pakistan’s Energy Needs”. It will consist of two exclusive sessions on ‘Revamping the E & P Industry’ and on ‘Energy Options and their Economic Viability’.
