PIA hires two planes after grounding 12

LAHORE – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) management has hired two Airbus planes along with crew while members Associations of Joint Action Committee PIA (JACPIA) have refused to provide any type of services to the said planes, sources in the national flag carrier said on Saturday.
Office bearers of JACPIA claimed that to justify hiring of two planes, PIA management has grounded its own 12 planes. They have demanded federal government and Supreme Court to investigate into the issue that how a losses-stricken airlines could hire two planes on lease.
JACPIA claimed that PIA management could not bring back aircraft engines which were repaired by some company. They claimed that cancellation and delay in flights schedule was also part of this decision to get these planes on hire.
