University of Lahore convocation

LAHORE – Punjab Governor Latif Khosa will be the guest of honour at the University of Lahore as the latest batch of students receives their degrees. The convocation is the setting for the students to pick up the result of four years of hard work – their degrees, says a Press release.
Looking on alongside the proud parents will be the University’s Chairman, M A Raoof, who has led the University since its foundation. He will be joined by the Vice Chancellor, Dr M H Qazi and the Rector Mr Saleem Shuja.
Raoof said, “The University is in its twelfth year of operation and has grown every year since it was founded. We have always been proud of the work our students put in to get their degrees. I think I can honestly say they get better each year.”
The convocation will take place at the University of Lahore’s New Campus, 1km off Defence Road, Lahore.
