According to Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO), the country is generating 13,252 megawatt of electricity while the current demand is 18,721 megawatt so the country is facing a power deficit of 5,469 megawatt. The dispute between the administration and workers of the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation could not be settled and the citizen have to suffer long hours of power outage.
