Unemployment can be controlled by skilled force

RAWALPINDI  - President RCCI Dr. Shimail Daud Arain has said that by imparting technical education to the youth not only unemployment can be controlled but the shortage of the skilled manpower can be overcome at domestic and international level that will strengthen the economy.
He expressed these views in a ceremony held at the Government College of Technology, Taxila. Model of technical projects prepared by students of TEVTA and other technical colleges were displayed at the meeting. TEVTA North Zone Manager Engineer M. Usman Ali, RCCI member Ch. Abdul Rauf, Heavy Mechanical Complex GM (Works) Hamid Iqbal, TEVTA Rawalpindi District Manager Farhat Jahan Raja and other office bearers of RCCI attended the ceremony.
Dr. Shimail said passing out students of TEVTA colleges are playing a vital role in the national development. He said the country still faces a shortage of skilled manpower; therefore, technical education should be promoted.
Addressing the ceremony, Engineer Usman Ali said government college of Technology Taxila will soon hold an exhibition of projects of alternate power sources. He urged the Chamber of Commerce to encourage and guide students of TEVTA colleges.
