LAHORE - Punjab Governor Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar will chair the ceremony of First Lake City Media Awards 2013 being held on Tuesday (today) at Lake City Golf & Country Club, Raiwind Road.
All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) former Chairman and the Chief Executive of The Lake City Holdings (PVT) Limited Mr. Gohar Ejaz is organizing this prestigious award ceremony in honour of Lahore Press Club where 15 awards of different categories will be presented to media persons by the Punjab Governor for their excellent performance in respective fields.
The organizer of the Award Ceremony is textile industry icon and presently group leader of APTMA, who was also given the highest civilian award of Hilal-e-Imtiaz, for his successful espousal of local industry’s revival and huge contribution to the economy.
Mr. Gohar’s vision of increasing industrial output to enhance exports to the tune of $25 billion by 2015, $1 billion investment per annum and one million new jobs etc. has given direction to and has set the course for public planning accordingly. He has successfully fought to save the industry from gas and electricity supply disruptions.
