5-member PC team leaves for Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD (APP) - A five-member delegation led by Federal Minister for Privatization Ghous Bux Mahar left on Monday for Saudi Arabia to visit the field branch of National Power Construction Company (NPCC).
An official of the Ministry of Privatization told APP that the delegation comprising four members from the ministry and one from the NPCC Lahore office, would be visiting the company’s fields in Madina Munawara and Jeddah till Jan 02.
“After the visit of NPCC, the ministry will get the approval of the PC Board for privatization process of the company”, he added.
The meeting of the PC Board, which was scheduled to be held on December 22 for approving the transactions of NPCC’s privatization. Meanwhile, launching of shares of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), has been delayed.
