ISLAMABAD (Online) - Pakistan would submit an application with the European Commission by the middle of March for availing the GSP plus duty advantage for its exports, according to commerce ministry here.
Commerce ministry deputy secretary (foreign trade), Muhammad Ashraf said that the concerned ministries/ organizations would submit their reports relating to the compliance of the UN Conventions for availing GSP plus duty advantage from EU by February 28 to his ministry, which would be attached to the application, as it was mandatory for obtaining GSP plus facility. Ashraf said that the prime minister has already given his approval for the submission of application for trade facility and hoped that Pakistan would succeed in getting the GSP plus facility.
