Atlas Bank opens sub-branch

KARACHI - Atlas Bank Wednesday announced the inauguration of its sub-branch at Khayaban-e-Shahbaz, Defence. Ghulam Ali Shah, Secretary for Local Bodies, Karachi formally inaugurated the sub-branch's operations. Aziz Rajkotwala, CEO, Atlas Bank Ltd. and Ghufran A. Khan, Country Head, Retail and Consumer Banking, Atlas Bank Ltd. were present at the occasion. Ideally located within the Shahbaz Commercial Area, Phase V, DHA, the sub-branch is part of the growing network of Atlas Bank's online branches that now stands at 35 across 14 cities of Pakistan. Atlas Bank already has two other branches operational in Defence, Karachi - on Khayaban-e-Tanzeem and in Phase 1. The new sub-branch will soon be initiating a Priority Banking Centre, among other customized services that will benefit Atlas Bank's fast growing customer base. Aziz Rajkotwala, CEO Atlas Bank, said at the inauguration, "Our focus at Atlas Bank is to be the bank of choice for our customers; increasing our reach, providing superior services as well as state of the art products and most importantly offering convenience to our customers from this new location, is a continuing step in that direction." Expressing his views at the inauguration, Ghufran A. It is also is in line with our network expansion plans to have 40 branches in 17 cities by the end of the year 2008."
