KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$22,996.6 million on 22July, the State Bank said on Thursday.
According to the break-up of the foreign reserves position, foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 18,036.9 million, Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks US$ 4,959.7 million and Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 22,996.6 million.
During the week ending 22July2016, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves decreased by US$40 million to US$18,037 million, compared to US$18,077million in the previous week.
During the week, SBP made payments of US$83 million on account of external debt servicing
