CM urges Sino firms to invest in transport sector

LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that there is a tremendous investment scope in the transport sector in Punjab, and urged the Chinese company to invest and take part in the tendering process for the provision of buses. While talking to representative delegation of China’s Gold Dragon Bus Company, here Thursday he said that Pakistan wants to benefit from Chinese technology and we wish Chinese companies to invest and install bus manufacturing plants. On the occasion, General Manager of Golden Dragon Bus Company International Business, Bao Hongquan said that his company is providing buses to 50 countries and expressed the desire to invest in the transport sector in Punjab. He said his company manufactures BRT buses and announced to give two buses as a gift to the Punjab government. Managing Director Plum Qingqi Motors Wang Zihai, Area Managers for South Asia and Central Asia were included in the delegation.
