MULTAN: The Food department Multan (division) has achieved 93 per cent wheat procurement target during the on-going campaign.
The department had enhanced its target for second time. Earlier, it was 590,000 metric tons and now it was 706,400 metric tons, said the officials. The department procured 661,921 metric tons from the division. Similarly, Multan purchased 230,331 tons which is 95 percent of total target.–APP

Lodharan and Khanewal got 93 percent target each as both district purchased 91,595 tons and 192,557 tons wheat, respectively. District Vehari achieved 90 percent target after procuring 147,438 ton.
