LAHORE - Students of Faculty of Engineering, University of Central Punjab won the “Best Engineering Design Award” at National RoboSprint 2014, hosted by the Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering, Islamabad.
RoboSprint is one of the largest national robotics competitions in Pakistan. This year it attracted 80 teams from all over the country. The event was preceded by a National Education Campaign on robot design.


Last year RoboSprint 2013 was hosted by UCP which was also a huge success, adding to the popularity of the event.
Robotics competitions are a great opportunity for engineering and computer science students to put their knowledge and skills to practical use; successfully implementing one robot is a realization of 60pc of the engineering curriculum.
