LAHQRE (PR) - The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Limited (PPCBL) is recovering the outstanding loans of previous crops from the defaulters on urgent basis. It was told during a meeting that was attended by Liaqat Durrani, Managing Director/COO, Pervez Tariq Dar, General Manager, Tabraz Abmad Ch, Zonal Chief, Lahore Zone, Lahore, and others. During the meeting, the overview plan was also discussed regarding disbursement of current Crop Rabi 2009-10 and recovery position of Kharif 2009 and other outstanding loans. Liaqat Durrani also visited Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala and Dera Ghazi Khan before the said meeting. He stressed to complete the all legal formalities to speed up the pace of recovery from debtors. The bank authorities fixed the target of Rs3b for disbursement to the small farmers of the Punjab to meet their agricultural requirements through Cooperative Societies up to 31 January 2010.
