KARACHI (PR): Pharmacy Science Club, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Karachi organized a workshop on “Brace for Surge of scientific study approach and mastering patient safety”.
This workshop presented a platform to the undergraduate pharmacists and fulfilled their aim to educate them about the responsibilities of a working pharmacist in a hospital and community pharmacy setup. The first slot of workshop included a training session on substantial role of clinical and community pharmacist in prescription making and intervention, identifying potential drug interactions and also solving several case studies and adverse drug reactions and how to detect, prevent and assess them.
The second slot of workshop comprised of types of studies in research, standards for research studies and selection of design strategies its strength and limitations (basic research, epidemiologic studies: descriptive versus analytical including interventional and observational studies).
